教授，博士生导师，中国心理学会认定心理学家，全国优秀博士论文提名奖获得者，辽宁省优秀科技工作者，目前担任中国心理学会理事，在研究生培养方面具有丰富的经验。
近年来的主要研究领域包括：（1）情绪知觉的行为与神经机制；（2）文字与面孔加工的机制；（3）成瘾的行为与神经机制。在Science Advances、Molecular Psychiatry、EbioMedicine、Clinical and Translational Medicine、NeuroImage、SCAN、Information Sciences、Psychophysiology、Computers in Human Behavior、CABN、Biological Psychology等SCI/SSCI收录的国内外知名杂志上发表研究论文100余篇，出版学术专著、教材和译著5部。相关成果曾获广东省自然科学二等奖，重庆市自然科学三等奖，重庆市社会科学优秀成果三等奖、深圳市自然科学二等奖和辽宁省自然科学学术成果一等奖等奖励7次。受邀担任Froniters in Human Neuroscience杂志客座副主编，PLoS One杂志编委以及Journal of Experimental Psychology: General、NeuroImage、SCAN 、CABN、Neuroscience、Psychophysiology等40种期刊审稿人。
